Description
The Aldon CB6-B Rail Clamping Wheel Block is built for temporary chocking of stationary railcars on exposed, flat track. Designed for 105-142 lb. rail, it clamps and grips the rail head through wedge action for high-security blocking. Weighing 50 lbs., it requires at least two blocks per railcar on clean, level rail. The car must be fully stopped with brakes applied before use. Check wedge tightness frequently during use.

- Do NOT use for impact stops.

- Apply brakes before installing blocks.
- Use one chock at each end of the car.
- Use on flat track only.

Safe Use of Product
Caution
- Use on exposed rail for temporary chocking of railcars.
- Use on correct size rail (105-142 lbs./yd).
- USE ON FLAT TRACK ONLY. Do not use on descending grades.
- DO NOT USE TO STOP A MOVING CAR.Car must be at a complete rest, with brakes applied.
- Use at least 2 car blocks per railcar.
- Keep wedge tightly pounded into frame. Check wedge tightness frequently.
- Rail surface must be clean. Do not install this product on oily or greasy rail – product may slip.
