Rail Clamping Wheel Block CB6-A (60-104 lbs. Rail)

The Aldon CB6-A Rail Clamping Wheel Block is a high-security wheel blocking solution designed for rails weighing 60-104 lbs. The clamps grip the rail head through wedge action, providing reliable temporary chocking of railcars on exposed, flat track only. Weighing 45 lbs., this block requires at least two units per railcar and must only be used on stationary cars with brakes applied. Rail surface must be clean and free of oil or grease to prevent slipping.

DO NOT USE AS AN OVERHEAD CRANE STOP.

• Do NOT use for impact stops.
• Wheel blocks can be padlocked for safety purposes. (See PDF attached at bottom of page.)
• Apply brakes before installing blocks.
• Use one chock at each end of the car.
• Use on flat track only.
