• Provides ease when checking track gauge intervals.
• Battery-powered laser unit measures gauge to within 1/32 in accuracy.
• An aluminum bracket with two rare-earth magnets holds Spot-Check on the rail.
• Two adjusting screws raise or lower the laser beam 20° with a laser range of 135 ft.
• Worker aims the laser beam at a point 5/8 in below the head of the opposite rail and reads the gauge.
• Readings can be saved for future viewing.

Also useful for checking overhead and side clearance of tracks, as well as new rail construction.
