Clearance Point Marking (Item No. 380-0630) is made to UPRR STD DWG 0026A

Engineering Standards shown in PDF below.

Clearance Point Markers tell switching crews how far they can shove a car without "fouling" converging tracks. Left uncorrected, a fouled track will cause a collision with a passing train.
