Two-Way Hinged Railroad Derail w/Pop-Up Sign Holder (For Locomotives)

Aldon's Two-Way Hinged Railroad Derail with Pop-Up Sign Holder is specifically engineered for 6-axle and 4-axle locomotives, plus all freight cars traveling at speeds of 10 mph or less. The low-angle deflection bar accommodates the extended wheelbase found on 6-axle locomotives. This hinged derail fits rails weighing 90-141 lbs./yd. and features an integrated sign holder and sign that automatically fold down when lifted off the rail and raise back up when repositioned. Each unit includes six screw spikes for secure anchoring to ties and stands 2-3/4" above the rail. Ensure adequate clearance alongside the track for derailed vehicles to safely slide to a complete stop.
