Aldon's Two-Way Hinged Railroad Derail with Pop-Up Sign Holder is built for rails weighing 90-141 lbs./yd. and designed specifically for freight cars and 4-axle locomotives traveling at speeds of 5 m.p.h. or less. This derail features a hinged design that works in both directions with an integrated pop-up sign holder for clear visibility.

Important: Do not use with 6-axle locomotives—opt for the two-way locomotive derail (Item #4014-18) or retractable derail (Item #4114-11) instead for heavier equipment. Replacement derail sign poles are available separately for right-throw and two-way freight car pop-up derails.
