Description

Aldon's Transit Car Urethane Double Chock is built for flush rail applications on 105-142 lb. rails, with clamps that grip the rail head through wedge action. Made from non-sparking urethane, it's designed for transit and passenger cars with wheels 28" diameter or larger. At only 4 lbs., it's a solid, purpose-built chock — though it's not rated for freight cars, grades, or vibration-heavy environments. Always set the car brake before installing; the chock alone won't hold the car.

Apply brakes before installing chocks. Do not use on freight cars being worked or locomotives.

Not recommended for heavier freight cars and/or where excessive vibration takes place.
Car must be at rest before installing chocks. Set car brake first, then install chock. Chock alone will not hold car.
Do not use on grades.
Keep fingers and hands away from car wheel. Watch your head!
Rail surface must be clean. Do not install this product on oily or greasy rail – product may slip.
