Tie Plugs

Tie Plugs are high-quality wooden inserts designed to fill old spike holes when maintaining or relaying railroad tracks. When spikes are removed, inserting these plugs prevents moisture intrusion, wood rot, and internal decay within the timber tie. Once driven home, they restore wood density, allowing new track spikes to be driven into the exact same location with excellent holding power and lateral stability.
